Intercontinental Malta will be partnering with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra for its forthcoming season. This partnership comes at a time of success for the orchestra, who are performing over 70 concerts throughout the year across the globe, and a time of ambition and progress for InterContinental Malta, which is on the brink of releasing its luxury Highline Suites.

The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra’s extensive calendar places it as a leading cultural ambassador, with a broad repertoire ranging from symphonic concerts to opera productions and community outreach programmes. Its broad display of talent doesn’t stop there, as the musicians have skillfully leant their hand to the modern symphonic music in the recent performance of film music and by diving in to different genres entirely at the Rockestra concert performed at the end of September.

This partnership also seeks to continually support and develop local communities with outreach programmes across the islands, including working with schools and charities. A particular focus of this partnership is the support of projects related to the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra’s educational programmes and the Malta Youth Orchestra concerts. This outreach principally aims to develop the local musical talent and passion, and looks to ignite a stronger following for this most prominent form of cultural expression.
