CALLEJA. On November 26, Grand Master Vice Grand Duke CARM SANDRO CALLEJA, OBSS, of St Paul’s Bay, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Rose, his children Karen and David, his grandchildren, great-grandson, his sisters, other relatives and friends, amongst whom members of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30 at 7.15am for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CILIA. On November 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, VIOLET, daughter of the late John Cilia and the late Emmanuela née Musù, aged 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Doris, wife of Antoine Cefai, Nathalie, wife of Adrian Grech Cumbo and Geraldine, wife of Patrick V. Cassar, relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30 at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere  will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Her sisters would like to thank assisting personnel at Mater Dei Hospital and at Casa San Paolo, St Paul’s Bay, for their dedicated care and forbearance. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

DE GABRIELE. On November 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, EILEEN of Valletta, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be deeply  missed by her husband Sunny, her daughters Maria and her husband Paul Buhagiar and Gabriella and her husband Norbert Attard, and her grand­children Kurt, Ian, Daniel, Nicole Marie and Amy Louise. Her funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today Tuesday, November 29, at 1.30pm for St Augustine's Church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere  will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.  No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza and Hospice Malta would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GAUCI. On November 27, at Gozo General Hospital, FRANCIS of Victoria, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Marie Louise and her husband Colin Attard, Tonia and her husband Michael Spiteri, and George and his wife Josette, their respective families, his brother George and sister Doris, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30, at 3.30pm for St George’s Basilica, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MIFSUD. On November 28, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, GEORGE of Attard (former active member of the Malta Union of Teachers), aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his children Elizabeth and her husband Joseph, Joanne and her husband Godwin, Adrian and his wife Denise, and Patricia and her husband Mario, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, in-laws and their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke’s Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30 at 8.30am for Attard parish church where Mass præsente cadavere  will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SULTANA. On November 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, our beloved ALBERT, aged 53, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife Ngam, parents Francis and Maria, sister Josette and brothers Edwin and Adrian, in-laws, nieces and nephews. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital, tomorrow, Wednesday November 30 at 2.45pm for Għajnsielem parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Għajnsielem Cemetery. The family would also like to thank the consultants, nurses and staff of the CCU at Mater Dei Hospital, for their care and dedication. His life was short but he lived well. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
