Mourinho: The Football Association has charged Jose Mourinho with improper conduct after the Manchester United manager’s dismissal in Sunday’s draw with West Ham. Mourinho has been given until Thursday to respond to the charge, which comes after he was sent off for the second time this season. Referee Jon Moss disciplined Mourinho when he reacted by kicking a bottle of water on the touchline after Paul Pogba’s booking for diving in the first half of the 1-1 draw.

Pulis: West Brom manager Tony Pulis has been ordered to pay £3.7 million to former club Crystal Palace after losing a High Court fight. A Premier League Managers’ Arbitration Tribunal decided earlier this year that the Welshman should pay £3.7 million in damages after both parties were involved in a dispute over the way he left the club. Pulis challenged the decision but a High Court judge in London has now ruled against him.

Colback: Newcastle midfielder Jack Colback has been fined £25,000 after admitting a Football Association misconduct charge for betting. Colback was charged with a breach of regulations introduced in 2014 that prevent players and coaches from placing bets on any football activity worldwide.

Derby called off: The Montevideo derby between Penarol and Nacional was called off on Sunday after fans clashed with police in and around the Centenario stadium. Hosts Penarol said that the match had been suspended, with local media reporting that more than 100 people were arrested as fans fought with riot and mounted police inside and outside the ground.

MLS Cup: Jordan Morris scored in the 56th minute on a pass from Nelson Haedo Valdez as Seattle Sounders beat the Colorado Rapids 1-0 on Sunday to advance to their first MLS Cup final 3-1 on aggregate. The Sounders (15-14-6) will try to get their first title against either Toronto or Montreal on Dec. 10.
