BONELLO. On November 25, ETHEL, of Sliema, aged 96, widow of William, passed peacefully away at Karin Grech Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Tanya and her husband Dr Geoffrey Zarb Adami, Moira and her husband Martin Farrugia Randon, her beloved grandchildren Mireille and her husband Simon Vincenti, Brian and his wife Roberta Zarb Adami, Christina and her husband Simon Fiorini Lowell, Daniela and her husband Andrè Micallef and John Farrugia Randon, her beloved great-grandchildren, sisters and their respective families, relatives and friends, Cikka and her dedicated careers. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital today, Monday November 28 at 1.15 pm. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CALLEJA. On November 26, Grand Master Vice Grand Duke CARM SANDRO CALLEJA, OBSS, of St Paul’s Bay, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Rose, his children Karen and David, his grandchildren, great-grandson, his sisters, other relatives and friends, amongst whom members of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, November 30 at 7.15am for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. CILIA. On November 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, VIOLET, daughter of late John Cilia and the late Emmanuela née Musù, aged 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Doris, wife of Antoine Cefai, Nathalie, wife of Adrian Grech Cumbo and Geraldine, wife of Patrick V. Cassar, relatives and friends in Malta and abroad. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, November 30 at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GATT. On November 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA, née  Frendo Randon, aged 91, passed peacefully away and gone to rest with her daughter Carroll, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved family, her husband Henry, her son Anthony and his wife Juliette, her grandchildren Nicola and Paul Busuttil, Katryna Samut-Tagliaferro and Tolga Temuge, Francesca Gatt and Pierluigi Mollicone, Michael Gatt and Nicholas and Diane Gatt, her great-grandchildren Justin, Sophie and Elisa, her sisters-in-law Rosemary Cook, Lena Brook and Margaret Manduca, her niece Fabrizia Frendo Randon and other nephews and nieces, relatives, friends and especially her devoted carer Berta Xerri and family. On November 28, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, GEORGE of Attard (former active member of the Malta Union of Teachers), aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his children Elizabeth and her husband Joseph, Joanne and her husband Godwin, Adrian and his wife Denise, and Patricia and her husband Mario, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, in-laws and their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke’s Hospital on Wednesday, November 30 at 8.30am for Attard parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SULTANA. On November 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, our beloved ALBERT, aged 53, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife Ngam, parents Francis and Maria, sister Josette and brothers Edwin and Adrian, in-laws, nieces and nephews. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital on Wednesday November 30 at 2.45pm for Għajnsielem parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Għajnsielem cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family would also like to thank the consultants, nurses and staff of the CCU at Mater Dei Hospital, for their care and dedication. His life was short but he lived well.

ZERAFA. On November 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, MASSIMO, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife May, his children, Noel and his wife Olivia, Joe and his wife Anna, Ray, widower of Miriam, Carmen and her husband Patrick, and Marthese and her husband John, his sister Sr Francesca Zerafa, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
