CASHA. On November 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE of Swieqi, aged 60, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be deeply missed by his wife Miriam, his son Mark and his fiancée Michaela, his daughter Lorraine and her husband Mark, his mother Frances, his sister Carmen and her husband Tony, his aunt Carmen, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Friday, November 25, at 1.30pm for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family vault at St Andrew Cemetery, Żebbuġ. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rosaria (Lucy), his children Miriam and her husband Joe Debono, Raymond and his wife Frances, Stephen and his wife Angela and Sandro and his wife Marie, his grandchildren Renée and her fiancé Roderick, Morena, Nadine, Kim, Kurt and Greta, his sister Tereża Fardell and his brother Laurence, his in-laws Frances Pickard, Tania Baldacchino, Paul Galea of Australia, Carmelo Galea, other relatives and friends. DARMENIA GRECH. On November 23, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, THÉRÈSE, formerly of Paceville, aged 84, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Rose Distefano, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow, Saturday, November 26 at 7.45am for Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Paceville, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SAVAGE. On November 19, TONY, beloved husband and best friend of Jane for 60 years. Devoted father to Charles and Clare, adored grandfather to James, Olivia, Melissa, William and Hannah. He donated his body to the medical school at the university. A memorial service is to be held at Pembroke College, Cambridge.
SCERRI. On November 24, at Saura Home, Rabat, MARY of Rabat, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters and brother, Bice, Vivie, Paul and his wife Annie, Georgina and her husband Paul Mifsud and Doris and her husband Frankie Vella, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Saura Home today at 2.45pm for St Paul’s Collegiate parish church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat.
