The Jesuit Centre for Ignatian Spirituality is organising the following four retreats next month:

• ‘Retreat in the Countryside – A God who keeps His promises’ will be led by Clare Camilleri, Maria Theresa Portelli and Frank Mifsud at Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Mosta, between December 2 and 4 .

• ‘Preparing for Christmas’ will be led by Fr Christopher Vella SJ at Manresa House, Victoria, between December 2 and 4.

• ‘Retreat inspired by Icons’ will be led by Fr Gerald Buhagiar at Manresa House, Victoria, between December 9 and 11.

• ‘Retreat for families’ will be led by Fr Pierre Grech Marguerat SJ and Cristina Spiteri at Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Mosta, between December 16 and 18.

• Mass for the repose of deceased members of the Royal Malta Artillery Association will take place at the Addolorata Cemetery chapel next Sunday November 27 at 10am.

A wreath laying ceremony will follow at the site of the RMA Association graves. Medals and RMA ties are to be worn.

Members, relatives and friends are invited.

• ‘Sono necessari i grattacieli?’ (Are skyscrapers necessary?) is the title of a talk in Italian that will be delivered by architect Mario Pisani, a professor at the Faculty of Architecture at Luigi Vanvitelli University, Aversa, Italy, and also a visiting professor at the University of Malta.

The talk is being organised by Din l-Art Ħelwa on Thursday at 6.30pm, at its premises at 133, Melita Street, Valletta.

The talk is open to the public and attendance is free of charge.
