CAMILLERI. On October 31, GIOVANNI of Mġarr, Malta, residing at St Paul’s Bay, aged 67, was called to meet the Risen Lord. He will be forever loved and remembered by his children Annalise, Melanie and her husband Carlos, and Andre and his girlfriend Abigail, his mother Anna, Grace the mother of his children, his grandchildren Nina and Gianni, his partner Marlene, his sister and brothers, his in-laws, his nephews and nieces, as well as many relatives and friends. The funeral cortège departs from Mater Dei Hospital today, Saturday, November 19 at 8.15am for St Mary’s parish church, Mġarr, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be much appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
DEMANUELE. On November 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, TESSIE, née Grech of and residing in Valletta, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister MaryAnne Bugeja, her nephews Fr Franco Grech, OSA, and Dr Charles F. Grech and his wife Alena, other nephews and nieces, in-laws and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Saturday, November 19 at 9.30am for St Marks’s (Augustinian) church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations should be made to the Secretariat for the Augustinian Missions.
VELLA. On November 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, Br JOSEPH VELLA OFM Cap, aged 56, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He leaves to mourn his loss the Franciscan Capuchin Friars, his mother Carmela, his brother John and his wife Rita, his sister Grace, his sister Rita and her husband Charlie, his brother Tonio and his wife Carmen, his brother Edmond and his wife Frances, his brother Victor and his wife Sharon; his brother Albert and his wife Lucia, nephews and nieces. Mass præsente cadavere will be held today, Saturday, November 19, at the Għajn Dwieli Capuchin church, Paola, at 9.15am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Addolorata Cemetery.
