The autumn edition of the Malta Artisan Markets is taking place in Mdina this weekend.

Participating artisans and craftspeople trade a range of goods from woodworks to jewellery, food and delicacies, pottery, candles, knitwear, woven goods made locally and much more.

Children can also participate in a card-making workshop hosted by local crafter, Cards by Micha, and other onsite activities including chainmaille weaving, silversmith moulding and weaving.

The setting is the magnificent Palazzo de Piro, a stunning 17th century palazzo, which is also offering a discount on both days to visit the onsite Museum of Tools Trades and Traditions.

■ The market is taking place on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 5pm. Entrance is free. For more information, send an e-mail to manager@maltartisanmarkets.com or visit www.maltaartisanmarkets.com.
