I would like to thank all for the professional way in which the facade of the chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows in Pietà and the paintings there were recently restored.
Thanks to those who took the initiative so that this baroque chapel that dates back to 1592 can be restored to its glory.
People should visit the chapel. On the facade one can see the emblem of Bishop Fra Paolo Alferan de Bussan (1728), whose portrait can be seen inside the chapel. This church was built after the plague and some of those who had died were buried there. St Ġorġ Preca used to pray in front of a holy crucifix and also used to teach Christian doctrine to the members of the MUSEUM society he had had set up.
Perhaps the Malta Tourism Authority canmake arrangements for multilingual information boards to be placed outside the church invarious languages.
A parking place for people with disabilities is also needed, at least behind the chapel.
