The marriage took place on October 28, 1956, at St James church, Valletta. The late Fr W. Azzopardi, MSSP officiated. With lots of love and best wishes for many more years together, Marika and Adrian, Franz and Lucienne, Rita and David, and grandchildren Francesca, Mark and Michelle, Andrew, Karl and Michael. Obituary

CASSAR. Suddenly, on October 26, VINCENT of the firm Carmela Cassar Jewellers of Valletta, aged 82. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Eunice, née Camilleri, his sons David and Pauline, Christopher and Candida, Michael and Susan; his beloved grandchildren Chantal and her fiancé Gordon Camilleri, Elena, Jonathan, Lara and Elaine; his sister Mary Agius Gilibert and Edwina Cassar, widow of his brother Emmanuel; his in-laws Charles Camilleri and Lillian Camilleri, widow of Francis, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital, today, Friday, October 28 at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

EL KHATIB. On Thursday, October 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, FATIMA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Raduan and Hoda, her mother Yolande, her sister Hanan, brother Sam and  his wife Louana, her other brother Yousef and his fiancé Ritianne Ciantar, her aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. A Mass will be held for the repose of her soul at Naxxar parish church tomorrow, October  29, at 7.45am. A special thank you to all the staff at Mater Dei Hospital for their care and dedication. The family requests that no flowers be bought, however, a donation to Malta Hospice Movement would be appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

BAJADA. In loving memory of DOUGLAS, beloved husband, father and grandfather on the first anniversary of his passing away. Forever in our thoughts and prayers. CARUANA – JOE. Cherished and unfading memories of a loving father, grandfather and brother, today the 19th anniversary of his demise. Always in our prayers. Bernadette and Nino Angeli, Therese and Tony Zammit, Marie and Philip Tabone, grandchildren, Lillian and Rosemarie Sansone.

HOLLAND – GRACE. On the first anniversary of her passing away. Prayers and reflection

The Catholic Action Movement in Gozo is inviting its members and their friends for some hours of prayers, teaching and reflection at Manresa Retreat House on November 12. The event, held in Maltese between 9am and 5pm includes a talk by Canon George Frendo and a discussion led by Fr Trevor Sultana.
