I wonder. In his interminable and desperate excoriation of the new gas power station, has Simon Busuttil ever bothered to visit the plant to see for himself what is going on there and how the taxpayers’ money is being spent?

Surely, he has a duty to do that. Maybe he will see concrete being poured there that is not up to standard. All we have had from him so far is blind criticism. Surely, he should take a team of his spokespersons to see for themselves what is going on.

He could then make some informed criticism, not remain so politically malicious, for his electoral purposes. And they might learn to withhold references to Hiroshima, or Chernobyl, or whichever nuclear bombing or accident they have been referring to.

Come on, Simon. Take the plunge. Try to be truthful for once and forget about your dismal electoral prospects.
