An exhibition focusing on botanical art highlighting the value of environmental heritage and its importance for well-being is being held in Attard.

Organised by the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, the exhibits are the work of the Australian High Commissioner to Malta, Jane Elspeth Lambert. The main centrepiece, painted specifically for this occasion, is of the Tulipa Sylvestris Australis, an indigenous tulip that is very rare.

■ The exhibition is being held at San Anton Palace in Attard in an area which is normally restricted. Accompanied tours will be taking place daily at 10.30am. The exhibition runs until this Sunday. For more information, call 2148 4662 or e-mail lorella.gatt@gov.mt. This event is being organised with the support of the Australian High Commission in Malta and with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malta.
