CALLEJA. On October 22, JOSEPH, aged 69, of Birkirkara, residing in Żebbuġ, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Amanda and her husband Valerio, Alan and his wife Dorianne, Alex and his wife Ritienne, his grandchildren Shannon, Kelsey, Kassidy, Kayleigh and Ella, his siblings and in-laws, their families, relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Monday, October 24 at 2.30pm for St Philip parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Sacred Heart of Jesus cemetery, Żebbuġ. GATT. On October 13, JANE, née Dimech, widow of Reginald, passed away tragically at the age of 77. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Patricia, Tania and her husband Patrick, Edward and Monica, and Denise and her husband Philip, her grandchildren Christian, Olivia, Leah and Luca, her brothers Joseph, Saviour and his wife Stella, and Paul, her sisters Mary and her husband Paul and Nanette and her husband Vincent George, her brothers-in-law and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral took place on October 18. The family would like to thank all those who expressed sympathy at the loss of a beloved mother and grandmother. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
LANZON. On October 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN of Paola, aged 65, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Peter, her uncle Edward and her aunt Melita Said, all cousins and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Josephine, widow of Anthony Vella Zarb, his nephews and nieces Kathleen Xuereb, Noel Vella Zarb, Mariella Schembri, Mark Vella Zarb, Jennifer Mallia, Mona Seychell, Valerie, widow of Joe Seychell, Doreen Magri and David Vella, their respective spouses, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, October 25, at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
