What’s wrong with being a floating voter? I thought the idea is that one votes for the political party (or the local candidate) who one perceives is going to be the most beneficial to the district or the community if that candidate gets elected, based on the premise that he (or his party) would fulfil their manifesto?

Of course that is a rhetorical question because I know the answer to it: all sheep are blind and must follow the same shepherd, make excuses for their mistakes or blame the opposing party, and so on ad infinitum – or else you’re a turncoat, renegade, Judas, or some other choice noun.
