Limbo, being held as part of the World Summit of Arts and Culturein Valletta this week, explores the notion of migration from multiple standpoints.

It is essentially a verbatim-style piece based on a number of interviews recounting the narratives of people from all over the globe – stories of individuals who have experienced some form of migration throughout their life.

In this promenade-style experience, stories and characters stimulate the creation of music and art as the journey of the process and performance itself unfolds.

Ultimately, this is an open-ended invitation to be challenged in our idea of ‘home’ and to reconsider and re-evaluate what we truly understand by the term ‘integration’.

This project is supported by Il-Premju tal-President għall-Kreattività.

■  Limbo is being shown today and on Sunday at Spaces C1-C4, St James Cavalier, at 6.30pm. Entrance is free but tickets are required. For bookings, visit kreattiva.org or call St James Cavalier on 2122 3200.
