The former head of the Public Transport Association has had a four-year sentence for corrupting a 15-year-old girl confirmed by an appeals court. 

Victor Spiteri, 55, had been convicted of corrupting a minor and participating in sexual acts with her. He was banned from transporting minors for 10 years.

The victim had claimed she had had sex with Mr Spiteri in a school van, his home and his office.
