ATTARD. On October 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR, aged 72, of Ħamrun, residing in Birżebbuġa, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Cherished in life by his wife Helen, his son Ian and his wife Alexia, his grandchildren Pippa and Kate, his brother Charles, widow of Marianne, his in-laws and their families, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, October 17, at 2pm for St Cajetan’s parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BAJADA. On October 15, CARMEL, aged 61, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Georgina, his daughters Margot Ann, her husband Gordon and their children Mia and Zoe and Maria, her partner Mark and their daughter Maya, his sisters Frances and Ġuża, family and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital on Wednesday, October 19, at 3.30pm for Sannat parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm followed by interment in the family grave at Sannat cemetery. CACHIA. On October 11, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, ROSE, née Bedrossian, widow of Joseph, passed peacefully away at the age of 93. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sister Lucy Dajani and her husband Thabet in Australia, her nieces Margaret Zulaf and her husband Helmut, Susan Rodda and her husband Peter Does, her sister-in-law, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, October 19 at 8am for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Balzan cemetery. FARRUGIA. On October 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY J., of Ibraġ, passed away suddenly at the age of 68. He was a devoted father and much loved by his son Nicholas. Now being reunited with his beloved wife, Stephanie, he leaves to mourn his loss his mother Lucia, his brothers Paul and his wife Esther, Alex and his wife Maryann and his sisters Marlene and Monica, his niece and nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends. SCHEMBRI. On October 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN, who lived in Santa Venera, aged 73, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Titian and his wife Marisa, Samantha and her partner Chris, both their families, her sister Anna and her husband Frans, her niece Karen and her husband Stephen, her late husband’s family, other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 18 at St Venera New Parish Church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
