To mark the 300th anniversary of the dedication in 1716 of the Gozo Cathedral to the Assumption of Mary, the Cathedral Chapter issued a set of two postcards with two personalised stamps depicting the floodlit cathedral’s facade, a gem designed Lorenzo Gafa, photographed by Paul Falzon, and the statue of Our Lady with the facade in the background, photographed by Daniel Cilia.
