VacancyCentre, a specialised provider of recruitment solutions, exhibited and took part in this year’s FHRD Annual HR Conference. Held at the Radisson Blu Golden Sands, the conference was well attended and attracted over 350 participants from a wide range of organisations.

This year’s conference addressed issues related to performance management. The ultimate goal of any organisation is to reach its objectives efficiently and effectively. Performance management involves the way managers appraise employees and how employees evaluate their managers, fellow employees and themselves. By understanding such a process, organisations will be in a better position to align their objectives with the employees’ skills and professional development requirements.

The conference covered the various aspect of performance management and explored how entities can deal with related issues. Various keynote speakers discussed this specific topic in detail while participants were given the opportunity to attend multiple workshops.

FHRD was set up to promote people management and development practices as well as the HR profession in Malta. The foundation is an independent and autonomous body that works in partnership with its corporate members from the private and public sectors and other key local players in the field of HR management and development.

The FHRD conference served as an opportunity for VacancyCentre to keep to its commitment in supporting the local and international business community by connecting top-tier talent with employers within niche industries, namely financial services, legal and compliance, gaming, IT and engineering, administration, sales and marketing.
