GRIFFIN. On October 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIS, of Balzan, aged 83, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her children George and his wife Rose, Mona and her husband Tony, Julie, Elizabeth and her husband John, James and his wife Sylvana, Marianne and her husband Noel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today Friday October 14, at 2pm for the Annunciation parish church Balzan, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MICALLEF. On October 13, Dr HILDA Micallef MD DCP (Lond), née Boffa, widow of Dr Philip Micallef, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Philip and his wife Marilu, her daughter Anne and her husband Peter Schranz, her granddaughters Nicola and her husband Richard, Catherine and her husband Wesley, her grandson Jonathan, her great-grandson Thomas, her sister Melina Sant Cassia, her sister-in-law Pauline, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, friends and all the staff at Villa Messina, Rabat. The funeral leaves Capua Court Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow, Saturday, October 15, at 8am for the Annunciation of Our Lady parish church in Balzan where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Żebbuġ Cemetery. Donations to charitable institutions will be much appreciated. A special thanks to all the staff at Villa Messina, Rabat, for their patience, care and dedication demonstrated throughout the years. MIFSUD. On October 12, ELSA, passed away peacefully. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is deeply loved and mourned by her daughter Nadya and her husband Jean Depasquale and her cherished grandson Josef and his partner Lara. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today Friday October 14, at 1.45pm for St Peter's parish church, Birżebbuġa where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
