Once again I have to write to complain about Melita and its tariffs. I was dumbstruck, to say the least, when I got an e-mail from Melita informing me that, forthwith, the rate for phoning abroad from my landline was raised from 1c a minute to 10c a minute.

I just could not believe it, so I called Melita to verify this and, yes, they have the cheek to increase the tariff by 9c a minute. That is one heck of a jump, to put it mildly, so now I am seriously thinking of telling Melita to take my landline out, along with everything else belonging to Melita because I am not prepared to pay such rates.

We need more competition from other telecom companies because Go is not much better. To have just two to choose from is such a shame for us consumers.
