AZZOPARDI. On October 11, at Casa Antonia Residential Home, Balzan, DORIS, née Doublet, widow of Paul, went home to meet her Creator at the venerable age of 93. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Rita and her husband Godwin Falzon, Marie and her husband Norman Alexander, Anna and her husband Mario Grech, Doreen, widow of William Mercieca, Pauline and her husband Emanuel Mifsud; her grandchildren Christopher and Daniela, Liz and Gege, Karl and Rachel, Claire and Karl, Peter and Gabby, Bernardette and Alexander, David, Stephanie and Steve, Patricia and Steve, Roberta and William, Julia and Mauro, John and Yanica, Katrina, Matthew and Jessica, Nicholas, Klara, Philip and Francesca, and her great-grandchildren Amy, Lily, Andy, Sebastian, Matty, Keira, Beppe, Jamie and Tessa. Also, her sister Tessie Doublet and in-laws Mary Azzopardi, John Azzopardi, his wife Lina and nephews and nieces. We will be celebrating her life at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, today, Thursday, October 13 at 2pm. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, welcome. GRIFFIN. On October 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIS, of Balzan, aged 83, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her children George and his wife Rose, Mona and her husband Tony, Julie, Elizabeth and her husband John, James and his wife Sylvana, Marianne and her husband Noel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends.The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Friday October 14, at 2pm for the Annunciation parish church Balzan, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata cemetery. MARSHALL. On October 11, at Zammit Clapp Home for the Aged, St Julians, MARY, née Cassar, widow of John, passed away peacefully, aged 90, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Albert and his wife Jane, Carmen and her partner Paul Giordimaina, Monica and her husband Gaetano Marmara, Vince and his wife Silvia, Josephine and her husband Charlie Giordimaina and Noel and his partner Francesca Meli, her grandchildren Mark and Kristina, Patricia and Mary Jane, Eric and Michelle, Kenneth, Steve and Janice, John and Yasmin, Ronald and Doriette, her 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Home today, Thursday, October 13 at 7am for Msida parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MIFSUD. On October 12, ELSA, passed away peacefully. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is deeply loved and mourned by her daughter Nadya and her husband Jean Depasquale and her cherished grandson Josef and his partner Lara. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Mark and his wife Rita and Ian and his wife Mariella, her grandchildren Yasmeen, Neil and Ryan, her sisters Maria and her husband Charles and Guza and her husband Glenn, her brother Anthony, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Friday October 14, at 1.45pm for St Peter's parish church, Birżebbuġa where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Tomorrow being the 34th anniversary since MARY D’AMATO went to meet the Risen Lord, Masses in her memory will be said at St Augustine parish church, Valletta. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.
