The Bay Kids Fund recently made a donation of €2,645 to help support animals in need at the Malta Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (MSPCA). Instead of the customary handshake in front of a company logo, the society decided to do something which was more ‘Bay fun’.

Some popular 89.7 Bay Radio DJs were invited to the MSPCA Rehoming Centre, Floriana, to walk dogs or play with the cats. During the event the society discovered that DJ Ian Lang (Langy) loves dogs, that DJ Simon isn’t too fussed and that Daniel Testa and Ylenia aren’t really cat people.

The events were photographed using a basic smartphone by the MSPCA staff and edited to a professional standard by Illumina Malta.

A fun video can also be seen on both the MSPCA and 89.7 Bay Facebook pages.

The society takes in stray and abandoned animals, rehabilitates them where necessary and rehomes them in loving homes.

To meet some of the wonderful four-legged friends shown in the video visit the society’s rehoming centre in Floriana. For more information, call 2123 0468 or look up MSPCA on Facebook.
