Freshers at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology last week attended a range of events and activities designed to help them get to know other students, make new friends and find their way around campus. These included orientation visits, library tours, talks, hair and beauty demonstrations, a football tournament and other sports activities such as rugby, sailing, canoeing and athletics. Several student organisations, companies and NGOs also set up stands and disseminated information. Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo and Opposition leader Simon Busuttil were among the VIPs who visited Mcast’s Freshers’ Days.
