An art and design course targeted at leaders of the community who may not necessarily have much background in the field is taking place from Monday, October 10, in Valletta.

Organised by the Institute of Research and Improvement in Social Sciences (IRISS), the Art Always Applies project aims to provide knowledge and awareness of basic art design principles, providing a critical fresh take that leads to success.

The training will be provided by Francesco Zagami, a visual and UI designer based in Milan as well as an experienced marketing and branding professional with a flair for visually appealing design.

Zagami will give participants the opportunity to bring into play their own organisation’s art as a developed and innovative approach, as well as to hone new skills to meet a number of challenges in their fields.

■ The course is being held from October 10 to October 13 at 36, Archbishop Street, Valletta. Participation is free but spaces are limited. To register or for more information, visit http://researchsocialsciences.org or write to irene.debernardin@researchsocialsciences.org.
