The Association of Model Engineers (AME) is holding its annual model exhibition in Naxxar until Sunday.

Model categories on display vary from aircraft to military vehicles, crafts, marine, figures, general engineering, cars, space and science fiction, trains, dioramas, die-cast and robotics.

There is also a special section relating to the 450th anniversary of the Knights of Malta.

Visitors can also watch demonstrations on model building and various steam engines. Train enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with large operational layouts, two of which are about the Malta Train.

 

■ The exhibition is taking place at the Victoria Hall, Oratory Street, Naxxar, and is open from 9am to 8pm, except for the final day, Sunday, October 9, when it will close at 6pm. Entrance is free. For more information, visit www.a-m-e.org.
