FARRUGIA. On September 30, MARIA, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Joseph and his wife Silvana, Raymond and his wife Susan, John, MaryAnn and her husband Reno Cortis, her grandchildren Claudia Ann, Liam, Gareth, Luke, Daniel, James, Jessica, Martha, spouses and great-grandchildren Dimitri and Gabriel, besides many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, October 3, at 9am and Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am at the Sacred Family church, Iklin. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
MICALLEF. On September 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIOVANNA, widow of Nazzareno, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Catherine, Isabelle, widow of her son Carmel, Josepha, Dennis and her grandchildren Elysia and Eric, her brothers and their wives, her brother’s widow, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, October 3, at 3pm for St Catherine’s parish church, Żurrieq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at San Leone cemetery, Żurrieq. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
RANCATI. On September 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMILIO, aged 81, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Simonide, together with Ivan whom he lovingly brought up, his sister Luciana Miggiani, her daughters Laura and Roberta, his sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. In keeping with his wishes, a direct burial was held with no funeral service. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be appreciated.
