ABELA. On September 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA of Tarxien, widow of Frank, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Josephine and her husband Charles Cachia, Thomas and his wife Antoinette, Mary Rose, widow of Charles Pool, Lora and her husband Gaetano Fazio, Theresa and her husband Marcel Zammit Marmarà, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Friday, September 30, at 8am for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Fondazzjoni Nazareth, Żejtun, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank all the staff at Casa Antonia, Balzan, for their dedicated care. BORG. On September 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, AGNES, née Cutajar, of Żabbar, widow of Saviour, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her sons Godwin and his wife Marthese and Mario and his wife Mary Grace, her treasured grandchildren Daniel, Matthew, Caroline and James, Patrick Egan, widower of her sister Carmen, her nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Saturday, October 1 at 8.30am at Our Lady of Graces Sanctuary, Żabbar, followed by interment at Żabbar cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GRECH. On September 27, MARY, née Zampa, widow of Albert, passed away peacefully, aged 95. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her sons Bertu and his wife Betta and Tony and his wife Annette, her beloved grandchildren Michael and his wife Francesca, Francesca and her husband Christian, Kristina and Giulia, her adored great-grandchildren Luke, Mark and Alex and her devoted carer Roselle. The funeral was held privately. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
