Another talk on Peter Caxaro’s 15th-century poem Kantilena, the oldest known literary text in the Maltese language, is being organised tomorrow. George Said Zammit will discuss the Maltese house in  Caxaro’s times.

The poem was discovered 50 years ago by Michael Fsadni in a register of notary Brandano Caxaro at the Notarial Archives in Valletta. As part of the celebrations of the discovery’s anniversary, a talk on the poem’s literary construction was held last week in Valletta.

■ The talk will be delivered at Palazzo Santa Sofia in Villegaignon Street, Mdina, tomorrow at 6.30pm. Entrance is free.
