In his article ‘The horse has bolted’ (September 20) John Craske went overboard in his remarks over the St Julian’s Bay area. I agree like everyone else that buildings which are not in line are an eyesore,  but where land is scarce such as in Sliema and St Julian’s, unfortunately the only way is up.

So I advise Craske and Elizabeth Lockhead to be less pessimistic and view the picturesque bay instead of the non-symmetrical buildings in St Julian’s Bay.
