Those in Gozo include the Gozo Museum of Archaeology, the Gran Castello Historic House, the Gozo Nature Museum and the Old Prison. All these sites are located in the Citadel.

The purpose of World Tourism Day is to foster awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic values.
