These are the main stories featured in today's newspapers:

Times of Malta quotes Italian unions saying that Alitalia has no money to invest in Air Malta and the Italian airline needs investment itself. It also quotes Labour MP Franco Mercieca saying that the construction company in which he hold shares has only undertaken one project. 

L-orriżżont says the government is expected to put out for public consultation a proposal to give 16-year-olds the right to vote. It also quotes Prime Minister Joseph Muscat lauding the $100 million investment of the US's Crane Company in Malta. 

In-Nazzjon says the Nationalist Party was proposing concrete measures to address poverty in Malta, including the provision of free medicines to the elderly. It also reports that once again MEPs had raised concern on the passport sale scheme.

The Malta Independent says that a second Maltese tanker arrived in a Libyan port to take on oil from the newly-liberated oil terminal.
