I wonder what Maltapost’s actual role is? Does it provide Malta’s main postal service or is it the cashing office of various other entities?

It is a shame that clients who require a postal service from this company have to wait in long queues as other people visit the branches to pay their ARMS, Melita and GO bills and even cash their cheques.

This is the case at our branch in Żurrieq and I presume that it is the same in other branches. Why shouldn’t clients requiring just postal services be given priority over other clients?

I understand that Maltapost is running a business but their primary aim, as far as I know, is to offer postal services on our island.

I only hope that Maltapost will take action to rectify this situation.
