Parliamentary Secretary for Planning Deborah Schembri is relatively new to politics but she had already made a name for herself. Like her predecessor, who provided water and electricity meters to squatters at Armier, she has also shown to be a charitable minister. Dr Schembri lately announced a new scheme permitting property owners to pay to regularise illegal developments that could not be sanctioned under existing policies. What a shame!

Both political parties should agree that enough is enough. Land illegally occupied at Armier should be returned to the government and building amnesties should stop.

Lately it was reported that more than half of all the tuna fish farms are illegal. Where were the police?  When is this ridiculous situation in the country going to stop?
