Former Arsenal and Ireland playmaker Liam Brady (picture, right) will be visiting Malta between October 1 and 2 as guest of the local Arsenal Supporters Club.

Brady, now 60, made 235 appearances and scored 43 goals for the Gunners between 1973 and 1980 before moving to the Italian Serie A where he played for Juventus, Sampdoria, Inter and Ascoli.

He returned to England in 1987 to sign for West Ham United for whom he played 89 times before hanging up his boots.

Brady left his role as Director of the Arsenal Youth Academy in 2014. At present, he serves as one of the ambassadors at the Arsenal Foundation.

On October 1, Brady will attend a dinner at the Grand Hotel Excelsior where he will meet Arsenal Supporters Club members and fans.

The following day, Brady will be at the club’s premises for a question-and-answer session before watching the Premier League match between Burnley and Arsenal later in the afternoon.
