Opposition leader Simon Busuttil should be consistent if he wants to be credible. He cannot one day deplore that Malta’s name is being made muck by the government, as he says, and then express pleasure that the Nationalist MEPs joined the EPP grouping in the European Parliament to vote against Malta’s credible candidate for the European Court of Auditors.

Does Busuttil want to raise Malta’s name or kick it into the mud?
