The third edition of the HR Network Series, organised by salariesinmalta.com was held at Global College Malta. The event focused on the future of HR, both locally and globally, and discussed the skills and competencies required to prepare the HR community for the future. Attendees included a number of HR and finance professionals, as well as directors of some of the largest financial, media, recruitment and manufacturing companies in Malta.

The main aim of the HR Network Series is to create a strong community of HR leaders and practitioners who together can redefine and reshape HR in Malta. This is done through networking, collaboration and sharing best practices in HR.

The event was hosted by Caroline Buhagiar, head of analytics at salariesinmalta.com. Federico Milanetti, HR business partner at Nestlé, based in Malta, and Allan Freed, principal consultant at RBL’s European office in Edinburgh, Scotland, were invited to speak at the event.

Dr Milanetti is responsible for the people agenda within Nestlé Malta Ltd and the creation and implementation of the people strategy in the local market. Mr Freed manages consulting and executive education programmes delivered to several European clients and has worked with over 100 organisations on HR transformation, HR strategy development and leadership development projects.

The last edition of the HR Network series for 2016 will be held on December 6.
