Joseph Muscat has of late started to label Simon Busuttil and the Nationalist Party as the “political elite”. Now I know very well what ‘elite’ means but to be sure I googled it and this is the Oxford Dictionary’s definition of elite: “A select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society.”

There you have it from the horse’s mouth. Muscat is actually praising Busuttil and the PN and admitting that Busuttil and the PN are superior in terms of ability and qualities to himself and to the Labour Party.
