The 65th edition of the traditional 14-kilometre journey from Rabat to Żabbar, held as part of the celebrations of the feast of Our Lady of Graces, was held today.

Our Lady of Graces was declared patron saint of cyclists and bikers in 1951 - the first year the pilgrimage was held.

Thousands took part in the pilgrimage which started in Rabat for the cyclists and Mosta for the bikers.

The cyclists and bikers merged at the bottom of Sanctuary Street and proceeded to the Church. The pilgrimage ended with a blessing.

The feast of Our Lady of Graces will be celebrated in Zabbar this evening.
