Vodafone Malta is introducing fixed internet and telephony for homes and offices.

Customers may now enjoy instant browsing and unlimited calls through a reliable fixed internet and telephone service.

The package enables customers to benefit from free, unlimited calls to all local landlines as well as from free, unlimited calls to Vodafone mobile numbers. Customers may also keep their existing telephone number from other providers and simply transfer it to Vodafone.

“Vodafone has been offering a home internet solution for a while but we haven’t marketed it broadly until now,” head of consumer business Tamás Bányai said.

“Our solution has been voted Malta’s most recommended home internet solution based on a representative survey of over 2,000 respondents between April and July 2016. We therefore feel this is the time to make it available more broadly, complemented by a rich home telephony service.

“We’ve been speaking to a lot of customers about their home internet needs and we’ve understood that there is a large segment who don’t have very complex needs but just want their home internet solution to work, whenever they need it. We developed our solution for them.”

Designed specifically for small households and offices, Vodafone’s fixed internet comes with an extensive data limit of 350GB per month and offers a smooth user experience with a download speed of up to 30Mbps and an upload speed of up to 15Mbps.

“Vodafone’s new internet connection is very simple to install – there is no need for drilling or wiring. Upon purchasing the service, customers can choose where they’d like their package delivered to at no added cost. Then they need only plug in and start browsing!” Vodafone Fixed manager Maria Triantafillu said.

To ensure that they are happy with the service received, customers are welcome to try out the internet service for two weeks prior to committing. Vodafone now offers the service at an introductory price of €30 a month for existing Vodafone customers and €35 a month for non-Vodafone customers, instead of the normal price of €45 on a two-year agreement.

The introductory offer is valid until October 15.
