Global Capital launches Cancer Care

Global Capital has launched Cancer Care – a first of its kind local insurance product aimed at providing financial support to cancer patients. A Cancer Care policy may be acquired by people aged  18 to 65 subject to an underwriting exercise. In the event that the policyholder is diagnosed with any of the most common types of cancer during the term of the policy, Global Capital Life Insurance  will pay the policyholder up to €100,000.

Global Capital CEO Reuben Zammit said: “The silent killer comes unannounced and upsets lives in incalculable ways. Cancer Care is a ray of hope in an otherwise bleak situation, which may hit anyone, at any time. At least, financial peace of mind is now within reach for those in need of cancer treatment and who no longer need to be dependent on the financial generosity of their families, friends, employers or the public. Policyholders can receive up to €100,000 which they can use as they wish. Nothing on the local market offers this kind of flexibility and financial support to cancer patients, with no strings attached.”
