The Malta International Festival continues over the next two days.

Today, workshops on commedia dell’arte and traditional Armenian pantomime will be held in the morning with five performances in the evening: Maltese theatre companies Antler Theatre, The Thespians and Zararti Cultural Foundation present Villains, In-Nassa, and Arlekkino u l-Barbier ta’ Siviglia respectively; Armenian Yerevan State Pantomime Theatre puts up The Spirit of Throne; while Frost Theatre from Sweden stages I Will Knit You a New Mitten Once We Reach Sweden.

Tomorrow morning sees workshops on screen acting  and discussion on video projects.

Performances on the last evening of the festival are: Mikħal, Ħrejjef and Arlekkino u l-Barbier ta’ Siviglia from Maltese culture groups Grokk Teatru, Soundscapes, and Zararti Cultural Foundation respectively; German theatre troupe I Piselli in Isabella and the Holy Grail; and the Yerevan State Pantomime Theatre from Armenia with The Spirit of Throne.

On both days, the workshops take place at the Malta Drama Centre in Blata l-Bajda starting at 9am while the performances start at 7.30pm at Fort St Angelo, Vittoriosa.
