The Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation and the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci, presents Gut Feeling, a multidisciplinary evening centred on the poetry of Karina Fiorini.

Fiorini (1982) wrote her first poem at the age of 12. Since then, her poetry has featured in events in Malta and Luxembourg where she currently resides. Fragmentation, disjointed memories, teasing rhythms and subtle colours mark her style.

She achieved third place in an international Canadian competition with her poem Ruts. Online journal Bare Hands Poetry published Warded Off in 2012 and The Luxembourg Review recently published Graveyard.

Tomorrow’s event also features actress Antonella Axisa and musicians Franco Tartaglia (guitar), Carl Matthew Camilleri (drums) and Claire Cordina (vocals).

The event is taking place at Yard 32, Strada Stretta, Valletta at 8.30pm. Entrance is free. For more information, visit http://goo.gl/HBJYfg .
