The Malta Amateur Dramatic Club’s (MADC) One-Act Play Festival continues tonight with the plays 22 Minutes and He Said and She Said.

The club has been established since 1910 with the festival coming into existence in 1979. It is a very important feature of the club’s seasonal activities, giving aspiring young actors and directors the opportunity to showcase their talents to a live audience in a competitive club atmosphere.

Tonight sees Joe Depasquale directing Gianni Selvaggi, Tina Rizzo, Christina Despott and Miriana Galea in 22 Minutes. Alex Gatesy Lewis, Michelle Boffa, Undine La Verne and Yvette Buhagiar star in He Said and She Said directed by Keith Joseph Barbara.

Tonight’s performances will be repeated on Sunday and two different plays will be staged tomorrow. The last night of the festival is also awards night for best director, best production, best actor and actress, and most promising actor and actress.

■ Tickets can be bought online at www.madc.com.mt with the shows starting at 7.30pm. The MADC playhouse is located in Santa Venera.
