AZZOPARDI. On September 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, ĠUŻA, widow of Frans, of Rabat, aged 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Edmund and his wife Dorothy, May and her husband Joe Muscat, Mercedes and her husband Maurice Moffett, and Stephanie, her grandchildren Erika and her husband David Galea, Simone, Dr Jeffrey Muscat and his wife Dr Jessica Muscat, Ian, Lynne and her husband William Barbara, and James, her great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law Esther and her husband Tony Muscat, Sylvia widow of Sunny Cassar, and Marie Cachia widow of her brother Salvu, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 9am tomorrow, Tuesday, September 6, for St Dominic church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere  will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BORG. On September 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, WILFRED JOHN of Attard, aged 64, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Isabelle née Muscat, his two daughters Greta and her husband Sandro Rapinett, and Erika Arrigo, his beloved grand-daughters Zea and Azia, his siblings Sue and Cecil Magri, Joseph and Edmea, Henry and Marion, his mother-in-law Mary Muscat, his in-laws Amy and Charles Calleja, Lino and Margaret and Walter, besides nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be held at 9am tomorrow, Tuesday, September 6, at St Mary’s parish church, Attard, followed interment in the family grave at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan will be greatly appreciated. Heartfelt thanks go to the medical and nursing staff at MAU 1 and to his personal physician. On August 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, WALTER ANTHONY of Birkirkara, residing at Casa Arkati, Mosta, at the remarkable age of 100, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Annie, née Cassar, his children Maria and Ben Muscat, John and Josephine Gatt, Edwidge Borg and Michael Symons, Christine and Bjorn Gillgren, Josianne Stottrup, his grandchildren Lara, Ben, Brian, Ian, Josef, Alexander, Mark, Annika, David, Jennifer and their respective partners, his great-grandchildren Jake, Kane, Kate, Luigi, Mia, Sienna, Lawrence and Rowan, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, September 10 at 8am for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SATARIANO. On September 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, DAVID, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children David, Patrick and Rachel and their respective spouses, his beloved grandchildren Joshua, Izzy, Amira, Chloe, Alexander and Rahma, his great-grandson Matty, his brothers and sister, James and his wife Oriel, Anna and her husband Colin Stanley, Ray and his wife Alison, Joe and his wife Angela, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, September 5, at 9am for Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, where Mass præsente cadavere  will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Caritas and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.

VASSALLO – MARIA. The sweetest memories are with us every minute of the day mum, but especially today the 17th anniversary since you left to begin eternal life.
