If you're keen to beat the traffic but just aren't comfortable riding a motorbike, you might want to consider taking a leaf out of this man's book.
Footage shot in Kazakhstan shows a man riding a massive ostrich race past a series of cars in the city of Almaty.
The video shows cars slow to a halt at what are believed to be traffic lights. Then out of the blue, the ostrich rider zips by, prompting a delighted whoop from a surprised car passenger.
Local police have said they are combing through CCTV footage as part of an investigation into the matter, although others have expressed scepticism and suggested the footage is fake.
The footage has gone viral, and parallels have inevitably been drawn between the rider and Borat, the fictitious Kazakh character played by Sacha Baron Cohen in the comedy film of the same name.
Ostriches are the world's largest birds as well as the fastest birds on land, capable of reaching speeds of up to 70km/h. Ostrich racing using human jockeys is a popular sport in parts of Africa, most notably South Africa.
