BALDACCHINO. On August 26, at her residence in Melbourne, Australia, TESSIE, née Mizzi, aged 76, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband Salvu and their nine children, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply missed by her sister-in-law Lina and her husband Richard Farrugia, her niece Dorianne and the Maione family, her nephew Ivan Farrugia and family, other relatives and friends in Malta. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
BORG. On August 28, JOSEPH V., aged 90, of Ħamrun, former Principal Administrative Officer at the Law Courts, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Mary, Ines, Jane and Jessie, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow, Wednesday, August 31, at 7.45am for St Francis church (Villambrosa), Ħamrun where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ELLUL. On August 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, Dr LAWRENCE ELLUL, MD, of Tarxien, aged 67, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Josette, née Vella and his only loving son Kenneth, his sisters Marlene, widow of Dr Joe Fenech, Manola and her husband Franco Masini, and Sylvana and her husband Joachim Wihl, Joan, widow of his brother Ivan, his sister-in-law Frances and her partner Anthony Brincat, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He is now reunited with his late eldest brother Dr Joseph W. Ellul of Marsascala. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, August 30 at 1.15pm for Marsascala parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved nephews and nieces, the family of the late Valerie Cremona; Hugh Peralta; Magda Magri Naudi, Hector Naudi and Josette Vassallo La Rosa; Mariella Degiorgio, Marceline Naudi, Joseph Naudi Montaldo and the family of the late Louis Naudi; Mario Sammut Alessi, Michael Sammut Alessi and Elena Cassar; and their families, great and great-great nephews and nieces, many other relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Frank and his wife Carmen, Mariella and her husband Louis Schembri, Joseph and his wife Mary Rose, and Tonio and his wife Anna, her grandchildren Thomas, Mary Louise, Bernard, Alexander, Robert, Nathan, and Matthew, her great-grandchildren Zejn and Gina Neve, her sisters Srs. Mary and Rose Muscat, FMM, Ġemma Muscat, Josephine Attard, her brother-in-law George Tanti and his wife Mary, in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
