BALDACCHINO. On August 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICKY, passed away peacefully at the age of 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Louis of Classic Press, Cospicua, her children Carmen and her husband Samuel, Marthese, widow of Michael, and Sandra and her husband Stephen, her grandchildren, their respective spouses, great-grandchildren, her brother Paul and his wife Lora, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, August 24 at 1.45pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Fgura, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BEZZINA. On August 23, DAMIAN, of Birkirkara, aged 50, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his father Paul, his brothers Silvio and Kevin, their wives Graziella and Alison, his nephews and nieces Matthew, Angela, Julia, Jamie and Jake, as well as his numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, August 25, at 2pm for St Helen's Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Medical Ward 3 at Mater Dei Hospital for their continuous support and expertise. A special thanks and heartfelt gratitude goes out to the consultant and his devoted team of medical professionals. May God grant him eternal peace.

DARMANIN DEMAJO. On August 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, widow of Peppino, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves to mourn her loss her children Josen and Mariella, Norman and Linda, Moira, wife of Alan Palmier, and Nathalie; her beloved grandchildren Rachel, Justin, Lisa, Kim, Nicky, Lindsay, Michael, Mathieu and Charlotte; her great-grandchildren Jamie, Emily, Alex, Seb, Sophie, Leah, Bethan and David; her brothers Edwin Galea and his wife Mary, Charles Galea and his wife Delma, and her sister Iris Zammit and Jimmy; her lifelong friend Jane Cassar; nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends, and her carers Marla and Rena. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, August 24 at 8.30am for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Millennium Chapel, Paceville, will be greatly appreciated. May she rest in peace.

MIKKELSEN. On August 7, while visiting his family in Canada, RANDALL, suddenly and unexpectedly went to be with his Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Elizabeth Claire, their daughter Tikayla, his son Josiah and his wife Luella, grandchildren Milah and Aurora, his sister Marcia and her family, many beloved cousins and many dear friends. The funeral took place on August 14 in his home province of Manitoba. A small memorial will be taking place on Saturday, August 27 at 7pm at the Knisja Evan­ġelika Battista, 227, Eucharistic Congress Road, Mosta. “Son of my love.”

SANT. On August 23, JOSEPHINE, widow of Joseph, aged 96, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves to mourn her loss her children Alfred, Michael, Lino and his wife Zdena, Marlene and her husband Philip, and Denis and his wife Marisa, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 26 at 9.15am at St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
