Regional Road lanes heading to Msida will be closed for 30 minutes tonight as contractors paint new road markings as part of the Kappara Junction project.

The lane closures will start at 10.30pm and should be over by 11pm, Transport Malta said. Traffic will be diverted to Triq Reggie Miller during this period.

Access to Gzira from Kappara remains restricted, and anyone heading to Sliema should make use of Rue D'Argens in Msida. Bus lanes in Sliema and Gzira have been opened up to all motorists to ease traffic flows.

Traffic lights along the route have been set to flash amber. This means that drivers must proceed with caution and make way for pedestrians who are crossing.

Works in Triq Għajn Tuffieħa

Triq Għajn Tuffieħa, Mġarr will be closed between 3am and 5am tonight, as workers use a crane to pick up machinery used for storm water system works.

Motorists driving during those times are urged to seek alternative routes.
