To celebrate the launch of iCycle, a new product for cyclists, Atlas Insurance supported 28 cyclists from the Alive Charity Foundation, who this year travelled to Zagreb, Croatia to take part in the 1,100km challenge.

The foundation raises funds for cancer research. This is the third year Atlas is supporting Alive. To further support this cause, Atlas also ran a fundraiser on its Facebook page.

In return for every Facebook ‘like’ Atlas donated 50c to Alive, raising €600. The amount was recently presented to a group of Alive cyclists by Atlas marketing executive Lorrieann Vella (pictured).

The new iCycle policy covers insurance for theft and accidental damage, as well as personal accident and public liability, which means cyclists are covered for injury to themselves or damages or injury to others.
